Today we played at home against promotion chasing Tranmere, with old cult hero Bas Savage coming back to show us his skills which won him so many admirers.

No moonwalk today from him though as Albion played a 0-0 draw.

The game was okay and to be honest we should have won, but the small attendance of just under 6000, had a cold and wet day.

It absolutely threw it down in the second half, one of the only problems of sitting in the South stand which has no roof (I cannot wait until we move into Falmer).

Another two points dropped and another batch of injuries sustained, Forster, Murray, Bangura, Borrowdale, Hinshelwood and Mayo all doubtful for Saturdays trip to Franchise FC.

This has been worrying me for a while. Is it the fact that our players are getting injured because of something going on in training? Or is it just bad luck? Who knows the answer, but at the end of the day if we would have had Forster and Murray fit all season we would not be in this position.

As predicted I said we would draw against Tranmere so we are still on target for 48 points which as I said before will not be enough.

MK Dons 1, Hereford 3, Swindon 3, Bristol Rovers 1, Colchester 1, Oldham 0, Huddersfield 3, Stockport 0 This is what I expect us to pick up in the next few games, but with Yeovil beating Northampton last night we are now seven points off the relegation zone and with keys players out we looked doomed.

So this Saturday sees us make our first visit to Stadium MK, home of Milton Keynes. They used to be Wimbledon but got moved to Milton Keynes. I do not agree with what they did but they are on course for double promotion although they are going through a bad run of form. I will be there on the 8.49am train from Brighton get there nice and early for a few beers and watch us lose once again.
