This has to have been one of the most bizarre and stressful weeks ever. Firstly, after losing away to MK Dons and looking doomed we then win away at lowly Hereford. Suddenly we have a chance of survival. Then we are at home to Swindon who we totally outclassed for 45 minutes and went in at half time leading 1-0, but just as we were sitting round chatting saying how we can escape this, we go and let in three goals in 15 minutes after some really awful goal keeping from Kuipers. The game ended 3-2 and we were now six points adrift with five games to play.

After leaving a depressed Withdean I thought it was all over we need at least seven points to stay up from a possible 15! And that is relying on other teams not getting any points. But what do Albion go and do win away at Colchester! A single Owusu header was enough with the amazing Hart partnering him up-front they were the better side and with results going for us we are three points off safety with a game in hand over Carlisle. They have three games left against Swindon, Cheltenham and Milwall and looking at it I cannot see them getting three wins from those games - but then I cannot see us getting another two win from games with Oldham, Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield and Stockport. But what do I know, I try to predict the score or even result and I still get it wrong, we are the unpredictable team this season.

I wish this season would be over with so we can mount a promotion challenge in whatever League we are in. I spoke to my mate today who is a Ipswich fan, he went to watch them play a meaningless game of football against Bristol City. Neither are going anywhere this year and he said it was so boring and at least you have something worth playing for. I said I wish we could swap places because I would rather be sitting in mid-table and safe right now.

So as said before home to Oldham , I'm not even going to try and guess what will happen, the only thing for sure is that I will have a few more greys by Saturday at 5pm.
