Sick of seeing perfect young bodies on Brighton’s burlesque stages?
Lynn Ruth Miller, a 75-year-old former journalist turned stripper, is set to change your opinion of what the body beautiful really means with her Edinburgh Fringe show.
Lynn began her career five years ago as a stand-up comedian concentrating on her experiences as an older woman.
But a booking at a burlesque club in 2005 encouraged her to embrace the more risque, so expect a strip-tease down to the granny pants as part of this show, as well as a refreshing commentary on the ageing process.
“I’m thrilled that I’m ageing,” says Lynn.
“I like it all. My show is about all the things that happen to you, but I let the audience know I’m still having fun.”
- Starts 10.45pm, free.
