A football match in memory of an Albion football fan killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York is due to take place on Friday.

Robert Eaton was killed in the twin towers attack in 2001.

The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund (REMF) was set up in his memory to raise money for children wanting to develop their football skills.

So far it has raised around £60,000 for the cause.

On Friday REMF will host the 8th annual trophy match between Brighton and Hove Albion supporters and Crystal Palace fans.

Ricky Marlowe, Robert's favourite player, will be travelling from Edinburgh for the match and Former Albion player Peter Ward will fly over from America to play in the game.

Kick off is 7.30pm at the Dripping Pan, Lewes Football Club.

Entrance is £5 for adults and £2 for under 16s (free if accompanied by an adult)
