A MOTORCYCLIST involved in a crash on the A27 on Wednesday evening is still suffering from serious head injuries.

The rider was involved in the collision with a car at Firle, near Lewes, at around 5.40pm.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said the man was taken by ambulance to Royal Sussex County hospital with serious head injuries.
