A MOTORCYCLIST involved in a crash on the A27 on Wednesday evening is still suffering from serious head injuries.
The rider was involved in the collision with a car at Firle, near Lewes, at around 5.40pm.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said the man was taken by ambulance to Royal Sussex County hospital with serious head injuries.
Mel Coley, who was one of the first people in the scene after the crash said: “It looked like the car came out the junction as the bike went past and they ploughed into each other.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours after the crash.
