The friends of Coldean Woods are a group of local people who enjoy the outdoors and the country side around us.
The group meet at 10am on the second Saturday of every month opposite the Hikers Rest Pub at the bottom of Coldean lane.
Working in the woods from the bottom of Coldean Lane up to the by pass, where they have created a new path and steps leading to the lower bridge, other tasks include litter picking, tree thinning and planting new trees and bulbs.
