Halloween is being celebrated in Hollingbury in style this year with a fun-filled family treasure hunt. The trail, planned for Friday 30th October, will take place along Ladies Mile and will start and finish at the Old Boat Corner Community Centre.

‘Wickedly wonderful activities’ are being put on for all ages along the walk including apple bobbing, truth or dare and ‘creepy creativity’. Food and cakes are also being provided for hungry hunters at the end of the trail.

Sophie Banham, Active for Life worker at Brighton and Hove Council said: “The aim of the event is to engage families in a fun and active event over the school half term holidays, attract local families to the community centre, as well as finding out what physical activities they would like to see take place in their area.”

She went on to say: “Putting on events is a good way to consult with people about what they would like to see more of locally.”

The event is being run in by Active for Life in partnership with Carden Tots, based at the Old Boat Corner Community Centre. For more information about the event contact Sophie Banham on 01273 293458 or email sophie.banham@brighton-hove.gov.uk.
