WHY do we seem to use the word “guy” (as in “You guys this, you guys that”)?
Everyone on the TV seems to use this Americanism.
Now I see we have created a body called the Supreme Court, a direct copy of the title of the US equivalent.
We in our little old country had High Courts and good legal representation when our cousins overseas were persecuting native Americans.
The Americans are OK I suppose in their colonial way but please don’t let’s keep copying them.
