Firefighters had to free three people following a serious road accident.
The incident involving two cars happened on the A281 in Woodmancote, near Heathfield.
Emergency services were called to the incident about 3.45pm today.
Paramedics were also called to the scene.
The road between Poynings Crossways and A2037 High Street in Woodmancote has been closed.
