An elderly woman was air-lifted to hospital after being hit by a bus yesterday.
The collision happened at around 10.30am on the A26 outside the railway station at Forge Road, Eridge, near Crowborough.
The 78-year-old, who has not been named, was taken to King's College Hospital in London by Kent air ambulance with serious injuries.
The road was closed both ways for four hours whilst police collision investigators examined the scene.
The bus driver was not injured and there were no passengers on the single decker bus.
