WILL everyone please stop moaning about the rising cost of stamps?

We have our letters delivered to our houses every day.

Just think about it – every day during all manner of calamities a postman comes to your house and puts your letters through the letterbox.

In most other countries, Canada for instance – that wonderful country so often breathlessly referred to in envious tones – people have to go out to their post office to collect their mail from a locker.

I don’t know how much they pay for their service but I know that kind of service in this country would be a huge saving for our Post Office – a tempting prospect for them?

So you should pay up gladly for our wonderful service.
