Following interveiws last week at Portslade Community College Janet Farr has been appointed as the Director for Adult Learning.
Janet hails from Lincoln and will take up her duties full time in July.
Initially she will work one day a week in the next half term until Easter when she will work part time until July.
This will enable her daughter to do her GCSEs in Lincoln.
Ms Farr takes over from Peter Sanders who retired last year.
The roll that she takes up is a little different from that carried out by Peter.
