Pop singer Kylie Minogue has chosen British Airways as the official airline for her imminent Show Girl Tour.

The Gatwick-based flag-carrier, run by Aussie Rod Eddington, will fly the diminutive artist to 23 different venues during a three-month tour.

The 54-date trip will take the multi-platinum-selling singer across Europe and then from one side of the world to the other, for the final shows in Australia.

Martin George, British Airways' commercial director, said: "We've worked with Kylie before and she's a huge favourite of our customers.

"We are in a unique position to fly her to many of the concerts on the Show Girl Tour and delighted to take her to Australia, one of our most popular routes."

After the tour the former Neighbours star heads to Australia for a series of concerts in five cities.
