Peter Andre blew his cool when he accompanied girlfriend Jordan to court - and was snapped by the photographer pressing charges against her.

Katie Price denied a charge of smashing Stephen Lawrence's camera when she appeared before Brighton magistrates yesterday.

Price, 26, of Maresfield, near Uckfield, is accused of causing £113.25 damage to the photographer's equipment on Brighton seafront on April 4.

As she was inside entering her not guilty plea, pop singer Peter waited outside, keeping an eye on their luxurious new Ferrari.

Mr Lawrence, who was covering the case for a national newspaper, said: "I took a picture and he just went insane.

"It was totally unnecessary. He was saying he knew where I lived and there were people he knew who would sort me out."

Magistrates adjourned the case until January 31 for a trial. Price was granted unconditional bail.

Andre enjoyed a number one single this year with a rerelease of his Nineties hit Mysterious Girl. Follow-up single Insania hit the number three slot.

Meanwhile, Jordan asked Peter Andre when he was going to pop the question today as the pair appeared on television to promote his latest single The Right Way.

The pair were appearing on GMTV when the conversation turned to marriage.

Jordan said: "We're not engaged and I'm not pregnant."

But she then turned to Andre and said: "So Pete, when are you going to ask me then?"

The singer replied: "It's a leap year so it's your turn."
