I found Sam Thomson's account of Stephanie Walker's exposure to all and sundry over the internet quite interesting.
While I am not particularly interested in seeing how she spends her day, I am interested in how the council decides issues that vitally affect my life. So are thousands of others in Brighton and Hove.
Unfortunately, although about 50 other councils webcast their debates, Brighton and Hove City Council seems most reluctant to do so - but it still deplores the people's lack of interest in local affairs.
