A man was punched, kicked and stripped of his trousers and trainers in a street attack.

The 24-year-old victim was attacked in Kings Road, Lancing, at about 11pm on August 17.

A white Metro-type car pulled up alongside the victim and a man got out of the passenger seat.

Words were exchanged and seconds later the victim was punched and knocked to the ground.

He was kicked in the back and then stripped of his trainers and trousers, containing his wallet and door keys.

Police released details of the robbery for the first time yesterday.
