Is anyone bothered, I wonder, by all the broken bottles that have been deliberately smashed on pavements?

I had to clean up an area before I could take my dog out. But it's not only dogs - people in sandals, toddlers and young children are at risk too.

Is the present trend not to hand out glasses for some drinks in pubs and clubs partly to blame?

Do doormen stop people leaving with bottles? It does seem to happen overnight.

What do we do if we find broken bottles on the paths? Just leave them and hope someone will clear them up?
