Edward Kennett is set to ride for Eastbourne Eagles at Coventry tomorrow, five days after being stretchered off the track at Arlington Stadium.
Kennett was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder after a three-man pile-up on a night when fellow Eastbourne reserve Andrew Moore sustained a broken leg in another crash.
The 17-year-old from Magham Down, however, suffered no ligament damage as a result of the injury and has been given the all-clear to line up in the Elite League match which Eagles need to win to maintain their push for a play-off place.
Polish youngster Adrian Miedzinski, who was involved in the crash with Moore, is out with a shoulder injury, so Eagles recall Steen Jensen to the team and include Tomas Topinka at reserve.
French rider Sebastian Tresarrieu is on stand-by to make his Eastbourne debut in the home match against Swindon on Saturday.
