As far as we are aware only one person in the Keymer Avenue area of Peacehaven has had any notice of new plans for 138 houses in our town.
If the Lewes District Council letter to our member is correct, we think the plans will only be available from today for two or three days in Peacehaven. The council want comments by September 3. How can it expect considered opinions with so little public consultation?
While 138 houses in Peacehaven may not sound a lot, the current feeder roads to Arundel Road and then the A259 can't cope with the traffic now.
Southern Water want Brighton's sewage to come to a site nearby too. Peacehaven's few facilities can't cope with such large developments.
