How sad that BBC2 have axed Top of the Pops 2 for being outdated.
Of course it is outdated - it is a nostalgia show.
Its loss is a blow for 30-something folks like me who yearn for the days when TOTP gave us proper bands playing proper music - not this strange noise the young folk of today listen to. I hope BBC2 controller Roly Keating reconsiders.
