Like Ray Ager (Letters, July 23) I was disappointed to find the Continental closed with no explanation given on the door.

If the business has failed (and we do not know this), it is more likely to be because it publicised itself as being in North Street when it is actually in Castle Square.

I can imagine a host of non-smokers frantically searching up and down North Street without success.

Even your own Fay Miller was told it was in North Street. She was surprised that the owners, who undertake club security and had been in Brighton for some time, did not know where their own cafe was.
