A boy of 15 whose bicycle was in collision with a breakdown lorry in a town centre has died.
He was riding his bike along Terminus Road, Eastbourne, at 9.44pm on Saturday when the accident happened.
The 32-year-old lorry driver was unhurt but the boy suffered a cardiac arrest at the scene and was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital with injuries from which he died. Police have yet to name the boy.
In a separate incident, a 34-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries when he was in collision with a Vauxhall Vectra in Langley Rise, Eastbourne, at 1.10pm on Friday.
The Vectra driver, a 23-year-old woman, was slightly hurt.
