A woman was forcibly kissed by a man as she waited for a bus.
She was sitting on Brighton seafront when the stranger sat on her lap, legs either side of her and grabbed her face.
The assault, opposite Pizza King in Kings Road, Brighton, lasted between five and ten minutes.
The attacker was one of three black men in their early 20s who left a taxi near the bus stop and approached the woman.
They attacker is 5ft 9in, slim, muscular, and wore a dark baseball cap and sunglasses.
The attack happened between midnight on Wednesday and 1am on Thursday last week.
Police are investigating another assault on Brighton seafront where a man was hit with a bottle.
The victim was with a group of ten sitting round a bonfire on the beach opposite West Street at 5am on Saturday. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
