Champions Findon went top of division one for the first time this season with a comfortable 80-run win over bottom side Burgess Hill.

Findon took advantage of former leaders Southwick having a free week by posting 201-3, before dismissing the hosts for 121.

Richard Iago (61 not out), Toby Kingsbury (51) and Paul Sullivan (43) did the damage.

Broadwater moved up to second with a five-wicket home victory against Lindfield.

Ian Timms took 4-26 as the visitors were skittled for 142 with Kevin Chamberlain notching 51.

Broadwater raced to the target inside 37 overs with Bob Reynolds top scoring with 40.

Arundel's home match against Ifield was abandoned due to rain with 21 overs of the home side's reply completed.

Ifield picked up 11 points after Graham Dean hit 132 in a total of 223-9. Steve Mullen took 6-98 for Arundel, whose reply had reached 101-3 when the rain came.

Pagham won by seven wickets at Goring after bowling out the hosts for 153. Danny Geare top scored with 57, but it was not enough as Phil Harris smashed 73 not out in reply to help Pagham ease past the total.

The top-of-the-table clash in division two ended in a draw, but it was leaders Barns Green who came out better after earning 14 points, while Keymer and Hassocks picked up nine.

Green finished on 206 all out with Tom Filby (59) and Chris Bailey (56) impressing with the bat.

Tony Chad led the Keymer reply with 49, but they fell just short on 198-8.

Third-placed Crawley Eagles failed to make up ground on the front-runners in a home draw against Ansty.

Eagles were restricted to 146 all out due to some ruthless bowling by Simon Parsons (7-54) but Ansty struggled in reply and were left holding on at 130-8 at the close.

Billingshurst were just nine runs short of victory before having their match at Clymping abandoned due to rain.

Jason Rigby took 6-41 to leave Clymping all out for 110. Hurst had reached 101-8 when the match was stopped, Dave Blackall having taken 6-37.

Crawley won their first match of the season against basement club Scaynes Hill, despite struggling to 135 all out.

Hill were dismissed for 113 in reply with Paul Clifford (4-27) and Aftab Khan (4-35) taking the wickets.
