Ritchie Venner was unbeaten as Hastings won the prestigious Wilmott Cup for the first time in their history.
Venner, 38, and just a year away from becoming a veteran, played better than ever as Hastings beat Hull 5-2, Crawley 5-4 and Liverpool 5-4 in the final of the men's national team event at Derby.
Venner had vital backing from Paul Barry and Keith Yarnley, who won two crucial pressure games.
Ifield (Crawley) won the Ormesby Club Cup for the seventh time.
With Venner in their team, Ifield stormed to a 5-1 victory in the final against Colchester.
Mayur Majithia and Terry Haley were also in the team.
