So, CN Rackley suggests that renewable energy leads straight back to the stone age.
I would protest that nuclear power does that. Perhaps CN Rackley can tell us how he proposes to safely dispose of the nuclear waste when currently there is no safe disposal?
Radioactive waste is stored, with a half life of some 25,000 years with which to wreak havoc on the planet or fall into the hands of some terrorist group.
Perhaps C N Rackley should ask why, if nuclear energy is so safe, no insurance company will even cover radioactive fallout in any insurance policy?
Renewable energy is the only sustainable and safe solution and clinging to petrol and nuclear energy only delays breakthroughs with clean techologies. It doesn't mean being a tree hugger or a Luddite.
