In reply to CN Rackley (Letters, June 14), we do not need nuclear power to meet our future energy requirements. Nor do we need oil.

By tapping the Zero Point Field we can obtain a free and infinite supply of non-polluting energy. Devices which tap into this energy have been available for over a hundred years.

Nikola Tesla patented his Magnifying Transmitter in 1901. Since then other technologies have been developed, including permanent-magnet powered motors, mechanical heaters and super-efficient electrolysis.

In 1957 a metal alloy was patented that breaks water into hydrogen and oxygen. This alloy can make hydrogen from water, for free, forever.

This is a small selection of technologies available. For further details, see http://www.free-energy.cc
