Ieuan Jones (Letters, May 11), says an exhaustive search was made for alternative sites for the GPs surgery in Hollingbury, Brighton.
We gave the developers more sites but these have been ruled out for reasons which could also apply to the chosen site at Carden Park.
He also says that a member of the community association was approached about the site.
I would like to know the name of the committee member referred to as we are all 100 per cent against this plan.
He also states the playground would benefit from this development but the plans do not show this. In fact, they state the playground is redundant and refuse bins are planned to replace it.
