May I ask the Rt. Hon. Ivor Caplin, Junior Minister for the Armed Forces a question?
Having spent £70 million on three new hangars and the maintenance facilities at RAF St Athan, why has the Ministry of Defence relocated the contract for maintenance and repair of aircraft to RAF Cottesmore?
This will result in 550 skilled aircraft workers being made redundant at St Athan.
Mr Brown has a large black hole in his fiscal requirements, with the wastage of the aforesaid £70million of taxpayers money.
My fervent hope is he would jump into this hole and take the rest of this incompetent government with him.
