It is extremely depressing to acknowledge our Government's commitment to genetically modified foodstuffs.

I sent letters to the Prime Minister (July 9, 2003, and February 20, 2004) highlighting a whole raft of unanswered concerns. In both cases the letters were passed on to DEFRA and only one token response was received.

So much for public consultation or consideration.

Is it a case of New Labour, New GM Foods, New Health and Environmental problems, with New Excuses to follow?
