At 7.30am on Friday, January 2, a lunatic raced along Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint, and - despite the fact the road was completely clear of anything other than myself and my dog - raced past me so closely I was hit on the arm by the wing mirror and sent spinning.
Thankfully, my dog was on the inside of me so the damage was a badly bruised arm and not the death of a beloved pet.
