There is concern about inadequate sporting facilities in this country and this is summed up by the organisers of the Southern Counties Swimming Championships.
They are now considering holding their annual event in Dunkirk, France, because of the lack of good 50m pools in our region.
What a wonderful opportunity for Worthing to provide the facilities for further swimming championships and bring added revenue to the area.
Worthing leads the way in the bowling world so let's put Worthing on the swimming map with a first-class 50m complex.
