It's good to see Embassy Court is to have a much-needed renovation, though I should point out that, contrary to your article of December 2, the building is most definitely not art deco.
There are plenty of art deco buildings in Brighton - much of Western Road exhibits the style - but Embassy Court is in the "international style".
Art deco is characterised by decorative motifs. The international style is more dogmatic, eschewing anything that doesn't contribute to the building's function.
