I am beside myself with rage at West Sussex local education authority.
Ifield First School has been ranked the worst of 161 primary schools in West Sussex - 161st (The Argus, December 4). This is no surprise after being subjected to closure, relocation, loss of playing fields and of hot school meals - the list is as long as my arm.
The major upheaval to the education of these children has been incalculable and affected performance, morale and health - not just of the children but also teachers, parents and carers.
It's a moral disgrace - and who's primarily to blame? The West Sussex County Council "elite".
