Burgess Hill boss Gary Croydon promised more attacking displays from his team after they claimed their second successive 5-2 home win.

With Shaheen Sadough coming on after the break for his debut after joining from Crawley, and Eastbourne Borough loan striker Mark Goodwin set to follow suit at home to Burnham on Wednesday, Croydon finds himself with some striking young talent.

And with veteran Ashley Carr continuing his progress towards full match fitness, there is almost an embarrassment of riches at Leylands Park.

On Saturday Corby hardly helped their own cause by having Scott Marshall sent off just five minutes in and sub Andy Brown was also shown red two minutes from time.

Hillians skipper Ben Andrews scored twice and Matt Geard matched that with two exquisite left-foot strikes.

Nicky Sullivan was also on target as the hosts romped into a 5-1 lead with only 57 minutes gone. Jamie Clarke had briefly put ten-man Corby level with a goal on 26 minutes but Michael Sneddon's 70th minute penalty was little more than a consolation effort.

A freak last-gasp goal denied Hastings United victory at home to Burnham.
