Horsham YMCA are to report Worthing for making an illegal approach after they signed defender Andy Lutwyche.

The Sussex player links up again with Alan Pook, his former boss at Burgess Hill, but his departure has infuriated Suter.

"Basically it has been done behind my back, the first I knew about it was when Andy phoned me yesterday afternoon," he said.

"I know players can be dual-registered, but you still have to go through the correct channels.

"Alan Pook and Danny Bloor, his assistant, have my phone number but I didn't even get the courtesy of a phone call which I find disgusting..

"For a club of Worthing's stature, it's a very unprincipled way to behave.

"I can't stop Andy signing, but I'm a great believer that when you sign on that's it for the season, for better or worse."

Ironically, YM's County League rivals Southwick had just put in an official approach to talk to Lutwyche who goes straight into the squad for Rebels' home game with Hampton & Richmond Borough tomorrow.

Matt Ottley and Eddie French are available again after suspension for Horsham's trip to Staines, but boss John Maggs is likely to name an unchanged team.
