I recently received a questionnaire about the quality of Brighton and Hove City Council services and life in Brighton and Hove.

I do not intend to complete the form as I feel that council taxpayers' money could have been better spent on essential services.

Is this consultation part of improving local services or extending an already overbearing central government authoritarianism?

I am moving out of Brighton shortly as, in the 19 years I have lived here, I have seen it deteriorate into an extremely unpleasant place to live.
