Three cheers for Ken Fines and his comments on the King Alfred monstrosities (The Argus, September 12).
At last someone with experience and common sense, so lacking in our present council.
What a pity he is not still the borough planning officer.
I notice that it has now come to light that Karis/ING will pay an "undisclosed" sum to the council after they have made a pile for themselves.
Councillors' mouths must be watering. Just think, they could give another deserved rise to their chief executive, David Panter.
