All of the enchanting elements of fairytales combine for this musical Russian adventure for children involving a talking raven and wolf, a horse with a mane of moonlight, a dying kingdom and king and, of course, the exotic firebird. PAUL ZENON, The Greys, Brighton, Sept 14. Brighton-based Zenon is the UK's leading comedy magician. Zenon played his first trick at the age of eight when he sold raffle tickets and then invented a winner so he could keep the non-existent prize. Since then the tricks have moved away from fraud into the world of magic.

TREASON SHOW, Komedia, Brighton, Sept16-18. With top-notch sketches and great dance moves, the Treason Show put the record straight about whether Posh and Becks will be arguing over who makes the better paella, whether Blair and Bush will be arguing over who has the most gullible electorate and whether Fat Boy Slim and Mark Brailsford will be arguing over who is the most loyal Seagulls fan. RICHARD III, Komedia, Brighton, Sept16-18. A classic depiction of a crooked chancer who, when spying a glimmer of opportunity, pursues it for all he's worth.
