I wonder why Brighton and Hove City Council allowed animal circuses, ie Zippos, to profit from animal exploitation within its borders when many other councils in the UK ban them?

I also wonder why a lady who fed pigeons was made homeless by the council when far worse offences are committed and people allowed to keep their homes?

Ours is not a very animal-friendly council and now I know why.

Chief executive David Panter and his colleagues eat wood pigeons and, even worse, Foie Gras, which is produced from ducks being force-fed grain until their livers become grossly enlarged.

This is horrendously cruel but what makes it even more distasteful is that the public is paying for it.
