Members of Women's Institutes in Sussex did not have to bare all when they appeared in the film Calendar Girls.
Unlike their Yorkshire colleagues on whom the film is based, they were able to appear as extras fully clothed.
It was left to actresses such as Helen Mirren and Julie Walters to portray middle-aged stalwarts who stripped off for a calendar raising money for a cancer charity and show the naked truth.
