I have heard there are litter wardens on duty in Brighton.

Can I request they visit Woodingdean?

This afternoon I sat and watched the occupants of a car parked in a layby in the village finish their burgers and drinks and simply tip all the rubbish out of the window.

They then sat there quite oblivious to how disgusting their behaviour was.

Some time later they drove off and their refuse blew around the road.

As infuriating as this is, I am always impressed to see the staff from the fast food outlets clear up after their customers.

Good on them and top marks, too, for the street cleaners who face a never-ending task of cleaning up after these unsociable scum.
