The leading lights of Brighton's art scene are the subject of this new exhibition in London.

The underground event should attract national art critics and help local talents get the attention they deserve.

Antony Micallef is an artist who has celebrity fans.

They include REM singer Michael Stipe, who praised Antony's work when he saw it at the recent Perverse Pop exhibition in London.

A highlight of the show will be Minotaur Whore, Antony's response to the world of fashion.

Simon Ward is the recent winner of the Dazed And Confused and Topshop's Recreation Award and has also won the UNSCENE competition - dubbed the student Turner Prize.

Intrigued by all aspects of Brighton life, Simon takes photographs which capture social extremes.

His photograph of a customised car called Sweet N Sour at the Lowlife Festival at Brighton racecourse in 2001 has a stylish radiance.

Dan Baldwin creates large-scale photo-realistic images of animals set against a background of nature running riot.

His work is glossy, often sprinkled with glitter and always bold.

Neel Morley's photo booth fixation has compelled him to compile more than 300 pieces of art over the past 12 years within the confines of a claustrophobic, 7ft by 4ft space.

Open Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm. Saturday from 1pm to 6pm. Call 0207 729 0555 for further information or visit the web site at www.cattocontemporary.com
