In light of the clampdown in Greece and Cyprus on British yobs, I congratulate the authorities for having the courage to deal with the thuggery of Brits abroad.
Both Greece and Cyprus are civilised and cultured countries.
Why should they suffer the mindless yobs bent on rampage, all in the name of "having a laugh"?
If only our police were as visible on Friday nights to deter the weekly tide of vandalism and violence.
If only our courts handed out punishments like those in Greece.
