Reading your report "Crackdown on council hecklers" (The Argus, August 14), it seemed to me the pain of losing overall control of Brighton and Hove City Council has got to Bob Carden.
Awash with bumbledon, he vents his anger now on heckling. No longer will hecklers be tolerated in the chamber.
Let me give the chairman some advice.
The day the planning committee starts talking sense and stops making outrageous, undemocratic decisions is the day hecklers be no more.
Like them or lump them, hecklers are here to stay.
