West Sussex League: West Chiltington maintained their slender three point lead at the top of division one with a five-wicket win at Hove Medina.

Alan Hamper scored 35 for Hove in a 164-9 score after tight bowling by John Chaloner. Chilt replied with 170-5 to claim victory, thanks to 35 from John Hussey and an unbeaten 50 by Rob Llewelyn. Ian Soffe (3-28) picked up three consolation wickets for Hove.

Ram are hot on the leaders' heels following a maximum points win at third-placed Dome Mission.

A century by Kartik (103) helped Ram post an impressive 339-9, which proved too much for Mission as they finished on 200-9.

Paul Costello made 41, but tight good bowling by Pramod (4-38) for Ram ensured Mission found runs hard to come by.

A batting masterclass from Rob Strickland helped West Blachington continue their good run with a nine-wicket home win over Shoreham. Paul Harrocks made 48 not out in Shoreham's 180-4, but Strickland then hit 108 in a Blachington total of 181-1.

The home batsman was even denied the right to retire when he reached his century by Shoreham, who were determined to get him out, before he deliberately holed out.

Kris Radmell carried on the good work with 56 not out to help seal a comfortable win.

Findon III hit 242-7 to pick up a much-needed maximum points home victory against Middleton.

Dave Goodman top scored with 63, before the bowlers took over to leave Middleton all out for 193 in reply. Jamie Signy took 4-46.
