Short and portly with a pencil-thin moustache, Har Mar Superstar, aka Sean Tillman, isn't the most likely of sex symbols.

Basing his look on an extra from a Seventies porn film, he has wing-tip collars and aviator shades and surrounds himself with a bevy of scantily-clad women.

While the idea he actually is attractive to women started as a joke, Har Mar hasn't been disappointed when the idea got to be taken seriously.

He said: "I'm just grateful I'm getting laid a lot more."

Initially dismissed as a kitsch music business in-joke, Har Mar's second album You Can Feel Me put the media and fans into a somewhat surprising frenzy.

Literally an emperor without clothes, the music itself is nondescript, functioning mainly as a rhythm track for him to strip to at his live shows - which is where his real credibility lies.

Legendary riots of sweaty strips, thongs, bar-top dancing and unbridled self-belief, girls apparently storm the stage at every show.

It's easy to see why.

Har Mar's business is spreading love and it seems the combination of semi-nudity and grinding cabaret/r 'n' b never fails to get the message across.

Indeed, the promoters of the legendary Manumission Club in Ibiza were so impressed they offered him a summer-long residency.

The club is famous for the promoters having full sex with each other in front of 2,000 people every night.

Reportedly, Har Mar does not intend to join in.

The lord of sauciness has however incurred the wrath of the authorities.

The poster for EZ Pass featured the man himself along with two women virtually naked, apart from two pink stars obscuring their nipples.

Labelled by Lambeth Council in south London as "absolutely disgusting and obscene", it was ordered that the offending pieces of filth be taken down within 48 hours or risk a summons.

But Har Mar hit back, saying: "From what I understand these community groups are probably pretty mad that I covered up the nipples on the girls and the only logical solution is to recall the posters and go fully nude."

Har Mar's next single, Brothers And Sisters, which doesn't appear on You Can Feel Me, will be released on September 22 on B Unique, followed by the re-release of the album in October.

Star of the video, which is included on the CD, is international supermodel Kate Moss dressed alarmingly as a monster.

The show starts at 10pm and tickets cost £10. Call 01273 772770 for ticket details and further information.
