An idea came to me when I read that toxic ships are to be towed from Virginia to Britain.
Thirteen condemned warships are to be broken up and buried on Teesside and a further 80 may follow later, all with Government approval.
These vessels contain hundreds of tons of asbestos and smaller amounts of chemicals linked to cancer, are rusty and can be penetrated with a hammer.
Why not turn the Millennium Dome upside down, fill it with the rusty hulks and label it "return to sender".
The money the Dome is costing us could be allocated to the NHS which is in dire need.
