Hundreds of cyclists and walkers are set to travel to historic Sussex churches to help repair them.
Half of the money raised from the cycle ride and walk will go to the churches nominated by the fund-raisers while the remainder will go to the Sussex Historic Churches Trust, which gives grants to churches in need of repair.
Parishioners at St Botolph's Church in Lansdowne Road, Worthing, want to support the annual event and need volunteers to man the registration and to serve refreshments.
A rota board will be placed at the back of the church for those able to help at the event, on September 13, from 9am to 6pm.
In 2002, more than £50,000 was raised by the event.
