On July 16, Arundel Football Club hosted a pre-season friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion.
We would like to send our most sincere thanks to Steve Coppell and his team for a first-class match, which was played in excellent spirit.
It provided a tremendous training opportunity for our players and despite losing 1-5, was enjoyed by us all.
We would also like to thank all the supporters of Brighton and Hove Albion who turned up on the night to give
their support. Their numbers exceeded our expectations and their behaviour was exemplary.
It was a pleasure to have them visit our ground.
The evening was a success for both sides and we hope there will be an opportunity to repeat the fixture next year.
